ORDINATOR new CPU board
The new CPU board of the ORDINATOR was intended to replace the original
CPU board, which had several problems.
You can find mention of rebuilding the CPU board in the
earliest progress reports of the ORDINATOR project.
The new CPU board went through several designs, starting from a
Z80-based design using FPLA chips and ending in a Z280-based design,
but it was never actually completed and built. It was a nice filler
board for demonstrations, though.
The ORDINATOR new CPU board is also mentioned on page 11 of the book "THE ORDINATOR PROJECT".
