National competition for young scientists
In february 1986 the ORDINATOR project was sent to the national
competition for young scientists as one of the DJOE entries.
We had to decide how much of the project to take with us.
After some debate, we decided on taking only the ORDINATOR with
its console terminal and two video displays and pictures
of the rest. To explain things to our public, we added
captions for the pictures
and we prepared a flyer.
Winning the first prize (we would have been very disappointed
had we not won it) resulted in a little press coverage that
you can see in the press clippings section of the site.
You can also see a picture of the jury certificate.
As part of the prize, we were to be sent as the Dutch entry to
the 18th European Contest for Young Scientists,
organized by Philips
at Oslo, Norway in May 1986.
